Apolinar "Poli" Yerena was born in Jalisco, Mexico, into four generations of farmers. He began working as a strawberry picker in 1967 and eventually leased his own farm in Watsonville with his brother Gilberto. They converted to organic after the fruit sold so well they never looked back. Today Yerena Farms is run by Poli, his wife Silvia, and their children on 17 acres in Watsonville.

Order now so farms can harvest to order. Last call: Tuesday 8/11 midnight for Thursday 8/13 delivery. Order early this weekend for a full view of next week’s harvest.
