Oya Organics was founded in Hollister, CA, by Marsha Habib and Modesto Sanchez Cruz, who combined their roots and farming knowledge — Marsha's agroecology training at UC Berkeley and her family's rice farming roots in Japan, and Modesto's traditional farming knowledge from rural Oaxaca — to build a 20-acre certified organic farm centered on soil health and biodiversity. "We believe food is medicine," says Marsha. "It matters what kind of soil it's grown in, what other plants are around it, how long it's been sitting since harvest."

Order now so farms can harvest to order. Last call: Tuesday 8/11 midnight for Thursday 8/13 delivery. Order early this weekend for a full view of next week’s harvest.
