The Listada de Gandia is a Spanish heirloom with striking purple-and-white striped skin, creamy sweet flesh, and thin skin that never needs peeling. The Rosa Bianca is an Italian heirloom — round, rosy-lavender with white streaks, and a mild, non-bitter flavor with a buttery, creamy texture.
