Blue House Farm
Sunrise Beans
$12
Unit price / perSunrise beans were developed by UC Davis as a non-GMO cross between Zuni Gold beans and a proprietary pink bean — bred for exceptional flavor alongside the yields and disease resistance that make them viable for small organic farms. Golden-hued and creamy when cooked, with a rich, well-rounded flavor. Certified organic and grown in San Gregorio, CA. 1 lb dry bag.
Blue House Farm was founded in 2005 by first-generation farmer Ryan Casey in Pescadero, CA, after studying agriculture and training at the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz. The farm operates across two coastal sites — San Gregorio and Pescadero — growing over 30 varieties of certified organic heirloom beans alongside vegetables, flowers, and fruit.
