Blue House Farm
Jimmy Nardello Peppers
$8
Unit price / perJimmy Nardellos are a late-summer favorite—slender, vibrant red sweet peppers that are thin-skinned, crisp, remarkably fruity, and completely heat-free. Sauté or blister them whole in olive oil and sea salt, then toss into pasta, grain bowls, salads, sandwiches, scrambled eggs, or anything off the grill. Named for the Italian immigrant who brought his family’s treasured seeds to America.
Blue House Farm was founded in 2005 by first-generation farmer Ryan Casey in Pescadero, CA, after studying agriculture and training at the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems. The farm grows over 30 varieties of certified organic heirloom beans across two coastal sites in San Gregorio and Pescadero, alongside vegetables, flowers, and fruit.
