Shishito Peppers

Shishito peppers are fantastic for a quick and easy side dish or appetizer -- just lightly sauté them in a pan with olive oil and sprinkle a little sea salt before serving. Little work for a delicious reward!

Shishito peppers are slender, wrinkled green peppers with a mild, slightly sweet flavor. However, about one in ten carries a gentle, surprising kick of heat! Shishitos are rich in vitamin C, fiber, and other antioxidants.
