Yellow nectarines are bolder and more aromatic than their white counterparts — higher in acid, with a bright tanginess that balances their deep, honeyed sweetness and a firm flesh that holds up beautifully at peak ripeness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis half flat is approximately 4.5–5 lbs, with an average of 12–15 nectarines. Because these are harvested to order and ripened naturally on the tree, nectarine size varies week to week — expect anywhere from 12 to 15 nectarines per half flat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor the best eating experience, leave them on the counter for 1–2 days to finish ripening.
